SUKOYA Shelf – Steel & Oak. Japanese Tranquility for Your Home.
A shelf that recedes into the background – allowing what you place on it to shine. That's the philosophy behind SUKOYA. The name is derived from the Japanese term for the angle tool that defines right angles – a tribute to the consistently linear, rectangular frame design that gives this shelf its calm, clear appearance.
Metal and Oak – a Timeless Duo
The powder-coated steel frame creates a stable, geometric structure. The shelves made of FSC-certified oak veneer bring warmth and naturalness into play. Both elements complement each other to form a piece of furniture that appears both industrial and organic – and fits into a wide variety of living styles.
Two Wood Finishes – Two Moods
You can choose between two oiled oak finishes: The naturally oiled oak veneer impresses with its lively, warm wood grain and a natural look. The white-oiled oak veneer gives the SUKOYA a Scandinavian, understated character – brighter, cooler, more timeless. Both variants are FSC-certified and designed for permanent indoor use.
As Flexible as You Need It to Be
The shelves can be freely moved on the horizontal frame grid – you can individually adjust distances, combine different heights, and design the shelf to perfectly suit your collection. Books, art objects, vinyl records, vases: The SUKOYA is as versatile as your living style.
Easy Assembly
The shelf can be easily assembled by simply slotting the pieces together – horizontal and vertical elements are connected, and the shelves are inserted. The construction is demountable and therefore easy to transport even when moving house.
Care Instructions
Regular wiping with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For the wooden surfaces, specific wood oils or polishes are recommended for long-term care. Not suitable for outdoor use.
