Unlike the metal version, the oak frame itself takes on the load-bearing role here – the result is a complete wooden piece of furniture with consistent, warm materiality. The oak veneer shelves are coordinated in color and structure with the frame. Since oak is a natural material, each piece shows its own grain – slight variations in color and structure emphasize the handcrafted character.
