Stool - AVIO

The name AVIO , which means "married" in Finnish, perfectly describes this furniture series. Two halves unite through a simple connection to form a harmonious whole. The rounded shapes and symmetrical structure harmonize with a narrow gap, creating a simple, yet by no means boring, design. This series was created by Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake .

The furniture is made of FSC-certified wood and is available in elegant natural and black stained versions.
